Nguni herds are part of the culture of Southern Africa. In Zulu and Xhosa cultures the number of cattle owned determines the status of the homestead (Umuzi) to this day. Bridegrooms still pay 'lobola' - an agreed number of cattle - to the prospective father-in-law for a girl's hand in marriage.

Each nguni product is made from a unique hide which is carefully chosen for its colour, pattern, texture and durability. By choosing a nguni hide you are in possession of a piece of Southern African culture. Treat it with care and it will last you for many years.
